They Live (remake)

A drifter looking for work befriends a man who takes him to a shantytown located on the outskirts of the city. While he’s there he discovers a underground resistance group who use sunglasses to see the aliens that have taken over the world.

Yea, that may not be the best synopsis in the world but if you don’t already know this story you have some catching up to do. This movie is classic 80′s Sci-Fi in every sense of the word. John Carpenter directed and wrote the screenplay basing it off of  Ray Nelson’s book  “Eight O’Clock in the Morning”. Mr. Carpenter also had his fingers in the music. That’s just what he does.

With the current state of Hollywood doing all of these remakes, not very well I might add, I wanted to write my own “remake” the way I would want it done.
